Unmetered Supplies
An Unmetered Supply is any electronic equipment that draws a current and is connected to a distribution system without a meter recording its energy consumption. Typical unmetered supplies are street lights, traffic signals, signs and bollards but can also include telephone kiosks, CCTV and advertising displays.
There are certain conditions necessary to approve a request for unmetered connections to ensure energy consumption can be logically estimated and charged to the customer through their appointed electricity supplier.
